What is a Yumbox?
Yumbox combines traditional Japanese bento compartmentalisation with a slick and chic European design aesthetic, using child-friendly construction and BPA-free, food safe materials
The Yumbox tray is removable and makes a great snack plate for kids at home. All Yumbox components are dishwasher safe (top drawer up to 65C) to make clean up a breeze.
Divided into labelled sections, the tray has been designed with dietary guidelines in mind to help parents pack correct portion sizes and ensure nutritional balance. A tight seal between the tray and silicone lid makes Yumbox leakproof even when packing wet foods like yoghurt, dips and sauces.
The Yumbox Original set includes the exterior box and removable tray and is completely leakproof!! How? Well they have a special silicone seal that is specific for that lunchbox. So you are able to pack wetfood such as yoghurts and sauces in each compartment without having to worry about it leaking into the other areas. BRILLIANT!!
The Yumbox Original is recommended for young kids (toddler - age 8) and perfect for all meals on the go and for preschool and school.
All food-safe materials are used - BPA-free and phthalates-free. Sturdy ABS (outer box), Tritan (tray) and Silicone (seal). Dishwasher-safe (top drawer up to 65C), hand washing the lid is highly recommended to prolong the longevity of the seal.

Great lunchbox

Great lunchbox, love the little compartments for different types of foods.
Does get quite heavy once filled. My only downfall is that i
wish it was a little bit bigger or deeper as my daughter came home from school complaining that she was still hungry at lunchtime so now i find myself using the yumbox and another container for more food.
its perfect for my son as hes only at kinder and i dont need to pack so much food as hes only there for 3hrs.
Its handy for the kids as they only need to open one lid to get to their lunch instead of lots of little containers etc.

Such a great product. Yumbox do the best lunch boxes and they excite the children eating from them too. I love the glow stars on this particular box!

This is the best! My 4 year old just loves her yum box and although it looks small it actually holds a lot of food in fact more than my 4 year old can eat! I love that there is only 1 lid and 6 compartments, makes life so much easier! Express shipping was quick too, it arrived in 2 days!

Perfect for Preschoolers

It was a struggle to find a bento lunchbox that was both leak-proof and easy to open for my preschoolers (3 & 4 y.o.). My girls could easily open them without spilling its contents.
We particularly like the multi-compartments because my girls still eat a lot of bite-size foods and prefers eating a variety of foods than the one whole sandwich/pie/etc. It may not contain enough food for older kids, but for kindergarten it is perfect to contain both lunch and snack in the one box.
One key setback is the washing. If you have a dishwasher; easy. But if you normally hand wash everything, there is a fair few nooks and crannies.

Much bigger than expected

My little girl loves hers. She has a good appetite and the yumbox can fit it all. It was a bit of a puzzle at the start due to small spaces , but everything + more fits in now. Love how she can easily take yoghurt/dips without worries for spills.

It's a great little lunchbox, perfect for serving healthy food & my daughter loves having choices instead of just eating a sandwich. I just bought another one for my son as they are so good. Perfect lunchbox!
